Filly took the "Kentucky Oaks" on May 3rd and last out ran a career best "fig" when romping here in the "CCA Oaks" on July 20th. Working fine for this and she's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Montana Native) (10-1) - Price play has won two in a row, including a small stakes here on July 24th going 1 1/8th miles. Working fast since and is a threat if "Sylmar" doesn't have her best.
3rd pick: #3 (Galloping Giraffe) (12-1) - Long winded type, is very lightly raced, but is beautifully-bred and still improving. She's from the same barn as "Sylmar" (Todd Pletcher) and may run well in this spot.
4th pick: #6 (Fiftyshadesofhay) (2-1) - The probable second pick, she won the "Black Eyed Susan" (G2) at Pimlico on May 17th, then took the (G3) "Iowa Oaks" at Prairie Meadows last out. Working fast at Del Mar before shipping here and a threat with her "A" game.
