Race was on their "poly" main track, but she's run well on real dirt in the past. Working super in Canada before shipping and trainer Josie Carroll won the Alabama here two years ago with Careless Jewell. Can run these down late.
2nd pick: #5 (St. Johns River) - Strong finisher missed by a head in the prestigious Kentucky Oaks (G1) on May 6, then rallied after looking beaten last out in the Delaware Oaks (G2) to win by a head July 9. The distance isn't an issue with her and she'll be flying late. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Royal Delta) - Price play received a rather poor ride last in the CCA Oaks (G1) on this course July 23. She raced three wide in a five-horse field before checking in third. Has the rail today, is working fast, and she's a threat at a nice price.
