Top pick: #5 (WRITINGONTHEWALL) - Speedy sort won here three times during the 2010 meet making him the only horse to have a "hat trick" during the 40-day session. He weakened last out at Belmont on the dirt after setting the pace and trainer Todd Pletcher drops him down in class and switches him back to the grass. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Hear the Footsteps) - Solid gelding from the Linda Rice barn is (8-2-5-1) on the grass missed by a head at this level at Belmont going a mile June 4. Stalker will be 3-5 lengths off the lead most of the race and has a shot to run down the top pick in the stretch.
3rd pick: #9 (East of Danzig) - He's run third in his last pair at Belmont, both at this level and distance. Lightly raced, in the Clement barn, and home-bred by "Sky Classic" must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #8 (Sky Blue Pink) - The only time in his 10 start career that he faced fellow New York-breds it produced an easy maiden win at Belmont last October. He's faced much tougher in all subsequent races and is a major player in here.
