2nd pick: #3 (Tree Top Lover) (10-1) - Four-year-old drops in price after a 'throw out' effort here for twice this tag July 23. He was bumped at the break and ran up on another's heels soon after. Toss that race and you have a gelding that finished second at this level and distance June 30 at Belmont Park.
3rd pick: #4 (Chomsky) (7-2) - The possible favorite, he rallied to finish third here for a $40K tag July 23. It was his first ever in a claimer and trainer Mark Hennig drops him to a new low. An obvious win threat.
4th pick: #8 (Persuasion) (5-1) - He cost $625,000 back in the fall of 2014 as a yearling. Colt can be had in his debut for a $20K claiming price. He's in the Pletcher barn (21%) first out, is working fast, and has John Velazquez aboard.
5th pick: #9 (Greyjoy) (6-1) - Stretch runner has rallied to finish second in four of his last six starts. Freshened up since June 23, grey gelding should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
