Top pick: #2 (SWEPT ASHORE) (6-1) - Lightly-raced filly ships in from Ellis Park where she finished 3rd of 12, beaten just over a length. Race was facing tougher going shorter. Improving and she races off a private trainer change to Danny Gargan (21% with new arrivals). He drops her in class and stretches her out. Can take this at a square price.
nd pick: #3 (Angel Choir) (5-1) - Speedy sort tired after rushing up following a troubled break at Belmont July 15. She had finished second in her previous start and her early speed makes her a win candidate.
rd pick: #4 (Accord) (8-1) - Long shot has raced evenly in all three starts since coming back from a six month layoff May 1. She's been bet several times and runs today at a new low and with blinkers on.
th pick: #9 (Egyptian Magic) (6-1) - Improving filly rallied to check in second of 12, beaten just under a length racing at this tag going 7-furlongs at Belmont July 16. A career best and trainer Linda Rice stretches her out this afternoon. Must be left in the mix.
th pick: #7 (Kitten's Angel) (7-2) - Ramsey home bred by 'Kitten's Joy' is lightly-raced and is dropping into a claimer for the first time. Trainer Mike Maker adds blinkers and this filly is dangerous with her best.
