Top pick: #6 (MURMURE) (2-1) - Beautifully bred filly has been freshened up since June 20th and is working very fast for her return. Pletcher trained daughter of "Lemon Drop Kid" is dropping to a new low in class and is meeting a weak field. She gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Prove It All Night) (10-1) - Longshot has the best early speed of this group and is another dropping in class and racing off a late June vacation. Her works are fine and trainer J.P. Terranova III has her set for a big race.
3rd pick: #2 (Molly Jordan) (5-1) - Lightly-raced filly tired here July 24th when racing for twice this tag in her first start in 11 months and first for trainer Dave Jacobson. He brings her back quickly and halves her in price. She should be competitive this afternoon.
4th pick: #10 (Sweethots) (8-1) - She's another that has a bit of speed, races off a June layoff, and drops in value. Her trainer (Phil Serpe) won a pair here yesterday, both with maidens on the grass. Must be left in the mix.
