2nd pick: #8 (Tahoe Lake) (2-1) - The "class" of the field, he doesn't win very often (2 for 20), but has faced better most of his career, and finished second on this surface last August in the "John'S Call" stakes. Speed/stalker runs second back off a nine month layoff, and was 2 1/2 back of "Bell" at Churchill in his return race.
3rd pick: #4 (Zane) (12-1) - Very lightly raced, he comes off a career best when winning an allowance at Suffolk Downs on June 26th, and longshot has more speed than most entered. Can impact with his best.
4th pick: #7 (Go On Murt) (20-1) - Speedy Irish-import stretches out in distance after finishing a pace-setting third at Belmont on June 27th, going seven furlongs. Runs third off a 7 1/2 month layoff, and is dangerous on the lead at a big price.
