Top pick: #5 (LITTLE GABBY GIRL) (3-1) - It's taken her some time to figure out what it's all about, but she enters this off a pair of back-to-back wins at Belmont, and last out earned a career best "figure." One-run type should get a fast pace to rally into and is the choice to win again.
nd pick: #6 (Crescent Shore) (5-1) - She had some promise in the spring of 2012, but following a pair of layoffs, she has not been quite the same. Filly runs second off a Bob Hess Jr. claim and she showed sharp early speed before tiring racing for $30K. Drops, has s nice local work on the July 25th and is a win candidate.
rd pick: #7 (Frosty But Funky) (6-1) - Filly by the up-and-coming "Frost Giant" has plenty of early speed and will be cutting back in distance off a mile race at Belmont June 20th. Don't just dismiss.
th pick: #1 (Crafty Push) (4-1) - Another with some speed and this daughter of "Dixie Union" has the rail. Runs second off a seven month layoff and she's the only fill entered with with a previous local win. Dangerous.
th pick: #2 (Yankeeindixieland) (9-2) - Strong finisher drops and should get a fast/and or contested pace to rally into. Filly needs to avoid any traffic issues in this large field to have any shot turning for home.
