He's gone 15-5-4-3 hurdling and finished second here last year to 'Bob Le Beau' in the 'Turf Writers Cup (G1). He was in action this past spring and went 3-1-2-0 when racing in the mid-Atlantic region. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Maserati) (9-2) - The main speed, he was a good runner on the grass before converting to the jumps in the fall of 2014. Brazilian bred has gone 6-4-1-0 over the hurdles and has won three starts in a row, two of hem coming in stakes. Very dangerous and must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #5 (Overwhelming) (12-1) - He's an uncoupled stablemate of 'Schoodic.' Erratic type is capable of impacting with his best and was an easy winner here a year ago facing allowance foes. Six-year-old was in poor form this past spring, but was facing the best jumpers in the country. May grab a share at a big price.
