She has the rail in this two-turn contest and has displayed some early speed. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Verve's Tale) (5-2) - Filly has finished 2nd in three straight at this level and has the best early speed of this small group. Home bred by 'Tale of Ekati' is a serious win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Crystal Wave) (4-1) - Grey daughter of leading sire 'Tapit' cost $535,000 as a yearling back in the fall of 2014. She finished far behind 'Verve's Tale' June 26 at Belmont, but it was her first start in 10 months. She's been working above average since and is from the Pletcher barn (four wins here in the first three days of the meet).
