Top pick: #8 (TAHOE LAKE) - He just missed here two weeks ago when he fell a 1/2 length short in an entry-level allowance going 8.5 furlongs. He's much improved of late and this longer distance should suit him fine. Lightly raced gelding has more positional speed than most and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Cheyenne Nation) - Trainer Chad Brown is having another fine meet in his home town of Saratoga and he has this lightly raced 5yo by "Gulch" set for a big race. Runs today off a series of solid local works and makes back to back starts for the first time since last fall. Strong finisher will be flying late.
3rd pick: #9 (Lime Rickey) - He finished a strong 2nd last out at Belmont in his first back off an 8 month layoff and is working well locally since that June 24 contest. Trainer Bruce Brown wins at a 21% 2nd off a long absence and this gelding by "Lemon Drop Kid" is a stretch threat.
