Top pick: #1 (GOOGLEADO) (5-2) - Argentina-bred colt tired late racing here at this level going 7 furlongs on July 19th. He had to be sent hard from a tough inside post and was under heavy pressure while setting quick fractions. Nice effort was his first off a two month brek and he's worked very fast since. FOur-year-old has the rail again, shortens-up a 1/16th, and "Johnny V" gets aboard.
2nd pick: #8 (Rincon Behr) (8-1) - He looked sharp when breaking his maiden at Churchill on a sloppy surface June 1st. Lightly-raced gelding has been working very fast at Keeneland before being sent here and can factor at a nice price.
3rd pick: #4 (Slan Abhaile) (7-2) - Colt by "Hard Spun" raced both wide and evenly on the Belmont turf on July 3rd. Good barn (Dale Romans) has worked him twice since and switches this speed/stalker back to the dirt.
4th pick: #7 (Midnite Poppa) (8-1) - Nicely-bred colt hasn't seen action since finishing fifth in the "Sam B. Davis" stakes (G3) at Tampa Bay Downs on Feb. 2nd. Home-bred by "Unbridled's Song" is working fast and has been stabled locally the past two months.
