Top pick: #11 (MARKETING MIX) - Daughter of "Medglia d"Oro" is one of three entered by trainer Tom Proctor and the trio race uncoupled.By far the most accomplished member of this field and she comes here from Arlington where she lost by a head in the important Beverly D(G1) on Aug 18th. All she needs is a clean trip in this large field (13).
2nd pick: #2 (Let's Go Cheyenne) - Clearly the main speed and this lightly raced and still improving daughter of "Tiznow" proved last out when she won an 11 furlong stakes at Del Mar that she doesn't have any serious distance limitations. Dangerous if left alone for the first half-mile.
3rd pick: #7 (Camelia Rose) - French-bred filly seems to be rounding to form and will be running 3rd back off a 2 1/2 month layoff that ended in late July. One run type has yet to reproduce her fine European form, but is dangerous if she does so.
4th pick: #5 (Mi Gi Gi ) - 3yo will be taking on older rivals for the first time and has shown considerable improvement since switching to the barn of Pete Eurton. One run type enters in career best form and has already proven that she likes this longer trip.
