He was narrowly beaten by a pair of today's rivals but may have needed the race. Speed/stalker has worked twice since and is making back-to-back starts for the first time since the early fall.
2nd pick: #5 (Ring Weekend) (4-1) - Veteran was away slowly but was only beaten a length in the same Feb. 11 stakes as a trio of today's rivals. Strong finisher should get a solid pace to rally into and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Bolo) (3-1) - Stalker loves the local turf 5-4-1-0 and he's three-for-five during his career at this distance. He was a narrow winner here in the Arcadia (G2) Feb. 11 and was just in front of 'What A View,' 'Conquest Enforcer,' and 'Ring Weekend'. It was his first race since July 17 and he could move either way off of that game effort.
4th pick: #7 (What a View) (7-2) - The main speed, he was an easy wire-to-wire winner of this stakes a year ago. In shape and this gelding should be involved every step.
