Race was his first since early January, and he's worked fast since. Speedster draws well and Bejarano gets aboard.
2nd pick: #13 (Where Was Eddie) (4-1) - Reddam home bred has early speed and has finished 3rd in all three of his starts. In shape, improving, and he draws a fine outside post at this trip.
3rd pick: #11 (The Custodian) (5-1) - Long time maiden has been freshened up since late August. Working steadily, he has some late kick and is a factor down the stretch at a square price.
4th pick: #4 (Diablo Caballero) (12-1) - Once promising sort has been freshened up since a pair of sub par efforts in August at Del Mar. Fits with his best and has been competitive in the past facing tougher groups than this.
