Top pick: #5 (SHANTY IRISH) (6-1) - Price play has finished close up in both starts at this level and distance. One-run type has blinkers added and is making back-to-back starts for the first time in his career. There's lots of potential pace signed on and he can take this with a late rally.
nd pick: #12 (Pay the Fine) (4-1) - Reddam home bred finished third of 12, beaten 1 1/2 lengths racing here at this level and distance May 2nd. A career best so far, it was his first ever on the grass. Win candidate.
rd pick: #11 (Seedsandstemsagain) (9-2) - He's in career best shape and last out finished second here May 2nd. He was a 'nose' in front of 'Pay the Fine' that day and is an obvious contender.
th pick: #4 (Stormin Trick) (6-1) - The main speed, colt is racing second off a two month break, shortening up in distance, and racing on the grass for the first time. Bred for the surface, his early speed makes him dangerous.
th pick: #3 (Real Big Deal) (8-1) - Colt raced evenly while having some traffic issues when finishing fourth here on the dirt at this distance when debuting May 9th. He's worked fast since and trainer Eric Kruljac switches him to the turf. It's a plus that Kent Desormeaux is back on the re-ride.
