The 3yo has some very fast local works on view, including a bullet 5/8ths from the gate in :59.20 March 22 and a half-mile bullet in :47.60 May 4. If he runs to his morning drills the rest are in trouble.
3rd pick: #10 (Nesbitt) (12-1) - He tired when debuting here in a dirt sprint March 29. A home bred by 'Curlin', he's working fast at Los Alamitos and he could factor at a big price on the surface switch.
4th pick: #1 (Seeking Refuge) (10-1) - Longshot has been on the sidelines since Nov. 24, Competitive in only turf sprint, he's working steadily, has the rail, and is from the barn of leading trainer Doug O'Neill.
5th pick: #2 (Babael) (4-1) - He's been un-raced since a wide and even effort debuting in a dirt sprint at Del Mar Aug 4. Well backed that day, he's working above average and is bred to like the grass.
