Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (HIT THE SEAM) (4-1) - He's been a maiden a long time, but has been very sharp in his last three turf starts. The latest saw him miss by a 1/2-length here at this level and distance April 14, and this speed/stalker can win this with a repeat of that fine overall effort.
2nd pick: #7 (Jamming Eddy) (8-1) - Grey gelding switches to the grass and is stretching out in distance after tiring here sprinting on the dirt March 31. It was his first since coming from Gulfstream Park in early February and first for trainer Peter Miller. Bred for the grass, I think he's a serious threat at a big price.
3rd pick: #1 (Golden Birthday) (6-1) - Away slowly in both dirt sprints, this 3yo is switching the the grass while stretching out in distance. Bred for the surface change, he has a quick recent work, draws the rail, and the highly selective Victor Espinoza is aboard.
4th pick: #8 (Jetovator) (5-2) - The morning line and probable favorite, he raced evenly when finishing 1.5 lengths in back of 'Hit the Seam' when debuting April 14. Bet down to 5-2 in that contest, he's back in three weeks for this one, and is an obvious contender but at a short price.
