Top pick: #11 (TURN ON THE PUMPS) - I liked him the last two times he raced, both at Hollywood during the summer, but he tired late in each after being involved in pace duels. He has a fine series of a half-dozen works dating back to Feb. 14 and they should have him all set for his comebacker. Price play draws a nice outside post and meets a field "light" on experience. 4-year-old can score at "juicy" odds.
2nd pick: #12 (Suances Candy) - The probable favorite, he took some money in his debut here at this trip a month ago and finished second, beaten a 1/2 length in a strong first effort. Home-bred has worked three times since and Bejarano is back for the re-ride.
3rd pick: #1 (Huntsville) - He was only 1 1/2 lengths back of "Suances" on March 25th here at this level and trip, then tired in his next pair racing on the dirt. Moves back to the grass and is brought back in six days by trainer Barry Abrams.
4th pick: #5 (Pork Chop) - Home-bred took some money in his debut in the same contest as "Suances", and was beaten less than two lengths while having some serious traffic issues in the last 1/16th. Must be left in the mix.
