Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (SEASIDE DANCER) (7-2) - On the sidelines since Dec. 20, she makes her West Coast debut off a trainer change to Keith Desormeaux. Filly is dropping into a claimer, has a fast recent local work, and I think she's set for a big effort.
2nd pick: #2 (True Validity) (5-2) - The morning line and probable favorite, she's cutting back in distance following a pair of 2nd place finishes here going a mile facing a bit tougher. She gets a big rider upgrade to Flavien Prat and is an obvious contender in this spot.
3rd pick: #8 (Acadia Fleet) (9-2) - Blinkers go on and she drops to a new low in her first since Jan. 6 and first off a private trainer change to Peter Miller. She's taken some betting action in both starts and draws a nice post today at this seven-furlong distance. In the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Out of Control) (5-1) - Heavily bet when debuting here for a $20K tag Feb. 18, she tired after rushing up following a slow beginning. Claimed that day by Steve Knapp (a 24% winning angle), he moves her up, stretches her out, and leading rider Joel Rosario gets aboard.
