Top pick: #4 (CLOSET E) (9-5) - Colt is the probable favorite and is coming off a "neck" loss here at this tag going 7-furlongs on Feb. 13. Speed/stalker meets a weak field and can take this from just off the lead.
2nd pick: #6 (Muck N Grind) (12-1) - Longshot has been freshened up since Oct. 12 and has some nice looking local works in preparation for his return. In a winning barn (Bob Diodoro) and a win candidate at a big price.
3rd pick: #9 (John's Journey) (5-2) - He missed by a "head" here at this tag and trip on Jan. 3, then raced and evenly last out facing tougher. Drops back down and is in the three-horse win mix.
4th pick: #1 (White Front Freddy) (15-1) - Longshot has the rail and some sharp early speed. He could be dangerous at a big price if he gets an easy lead.
5th pick: #2 (Fuzzy Logic) (4-1) - Takes a big drop today in his first since Jan. 11. Hasn't shown much to date, but is working nicely and the drop helps.
