Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (CALVERT STREET) (15-1) - Gelding dueled through fast fractions before tiring to finish 5th of 12, beaten by eight lengths here at this level Dec. 26th. It was his first back off a 2.5-month freshening and a career best overall. He moves out in the gate, and trainer Eric Kruljac has him making back-to-back starts for the first time. He has a big shot at potentially long odds.

nd pick: #8 (Star Express) (4-1) - The field's most experienced maiden, he's finish 2nd in three of his last five starts. One run type is in form, and Bejarano is aboard for the first time. Win candidate.

rd pick: #2 (Da Brooklyn Kid) (10-1) - He chased while between horses and tired during the stretch run when debuting here Dec. 26th. The 'red hot' D'Amato barn brings him back quickly, and this 3yo gets some weight off with apprentice Lopez aboard.

th pick: #1 (Discreetlyhumorme) (7-2) - Heavily backed in his debut Sept. 17th at Los Alamitos, he stumbled and fell just past the 1/2 mile pole. Trainer Mark Glatt has given him four months to recover and has him working steadily for his return to action. Drops, has the rail, and 3yo has his blinkers taken off.

th pick: #3 (Remember Clement) (8-1) - Home bred rallied and was only beaten a 'neck' racing at this level and distance Dec. 3rd at Los Alamitos. Nice effort, but the contest was run in slow time, and the 'figure' earned was rather weak. Can factor, but he'll need to run faster.
