Top pick: #8 (ROB'S PAL) (7-2) - Strong finisher ran second here at this tag going a mile on Jan. 10 in his first off a two month break and first ever on real dirt. He's worked twice since and trainer Jeff Mullins cuts him back a furlong. The top choice, but remember to box your exactas.

2nd pick: #4 (Profire) (5-2) - Lightly-raced and well bred, colt tired facing tougher in his local debut on Dec. 26. Trainer John Sadler has worked him four times since and drops him into a claimer for the first time.

3rd pick: #14 (Warren's Cliff S.) (6-1) - He draws a nice outside post at this distance and comes into this off a solid second-place finish here at this tag going 8.5-furlongs on Dec. 26. Working well since and Warren home-bred has run been competitive at this distance in the past.

4th pick: #13 (Dehere is Gone) (4-1) - Five-year-old tired after chasing a fast pace for a $30K tag when debuting here two weeks ago. Trainer Bill Spawr brings him back quickly, drops him down a bit, and his early speed should have him in this from gate-to-wire.
