Top pick: #5 (MINI CANDY) (4-1) - Filly was bet heavily when debuting in a Hollywood sprint at this tag Nov. 23rd, but had a poor start and raced evenly while wide. Trainer John Sadler brings her back in five weeks, and will stretch her out in distance. Bejarano stays put, and filly can make amends today.
nd pick: #4 (Cheeky Stone) (8-1) - Price play has early speed, and will be stretching out off a pair of sprints. Working well locally, and she's a win threat at long odds.
rd pick: #8 (Impeccably) (7-2) - Golden Gate shipper set the pace and held to finish second there going a mile on the grass Dec. 8th. Lightly raced, improving, and in a capable barn (Adam Kitchingman).
th pick: #7 (Big Rosie Brown) (6-1) - Well-backed in her first start, daughter of "Big Brown" was away slowly, and was "bumped" once in stride. Bred to like this longer trip, and filly must be left in the mix.
th pick: #9 (Warrens Lil Margie) (10-1) - She showed some life last out in a Hollywood sprint in her first back from a two month break. By far her best to date, and she may factor at long odds.
