Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (ENGLISH ROYALTY) (8-1) - Longshot moves to the grass after winning five of 10 sprinting on the Tapeta surface at Golden Gate Fields. She runs first off a claim by Anna Meah, has the rail, is nicely spotted, and Raf Bejarano is aboard. I think this 3yo has a good shot at a big price.
2nd pick: #4 (Chasin Lucas) (5-1) - Speedy 4yo is one of two entered by Mark Glatt, and they both have good chances. This filly switches to the grass after finishing in two of her last three here on the dirt. She raced evenly last October in her only previous attempt on the turf and is in the mix.
3rd pick: #7 (Moonshine Annie) (3-1) - The second of the pair from the barn of Mark Glatt, her entire career has been spent on the grass. She's gone 15-1-3-3 with all of those starts coming at longer distance. One run type should be finishing fast and is a late threat.
4th pick: #6 (Settle It) (6-1) - Reddam home bred broke her maiden here going 6.5 furlongs on the grass Feb. 9. Switched to the dirt off a two-month break April 6, she tired badly after bobbling at he break in a $200K stakes for Cal breds. Back on the grass here, she's lightly raced, and must be left in the mix.
