Top pick: #4 (TRITAP) (3-1) - Grey colt has always been highly thought of by trainer Steve Asmussen and he just missed winning a G2 last out when he came up a head shor to today's rival "Fed Biz" here in the G2 San Fernando on Jan. 12. Career best came off a two month layoff and the extra 1/16th he travels this afternoon is in his favor.
2nd pick: #2 (Fed Biz) (2-1) - As mentioned above, he was a head better than "Tritap" last out on this surface and this promising colt has excellent early speed. With the late scratch of No. 1 "Shadow Runner," this son of "Giant's Causeway" will be tough to get by on the front-end as he breaks from the rail. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Guilt Trip) (5-2) - Lightly raced and "long winded," he's the type that can "run all day" and he was closing fast in the same shorter stakes that "Tritap" and "Fed" come out of. Working fast and a late threat.
4th pick: #6 (Handsome Mike) (6-1) - He raced evenly in the recent stakes that the top three picks exit and He's won at this demanding 9-furlong trip in the past. Don't just ignore.
