He defeated today's rival, 'Honor A.P.,' by just over two lengths that day, is working fast for this one, and I like his prospects.
2nd pick: #6 (Honor A.P.) (2-1) - An $850,000 son of 'Honor Code,' he's gone 3-1-2-0 so far and was a bit over two lengths behind 'Authentic' here in the G2 San Felipe Stakes March 7. It was his first race in almost five months, he's working fast since, and he has a solid shot at causing a mild upset.
3rd pick: #5 (Azul Coast) (12-1) - The second of the Baffert trained pair, he's won two of three and finished 2nd, almost eight lengths behind 'Authentic' in his only loss. This son of 'Super Saver' is working fast and should like today's longer nine-furlong distance.
4th pick: #2 (Rushie) (8-1) - He's gone 3-2-1-0 over weaker after coming off around a 100-day layoff Feb. 1. He has good tactical speed, is improving, and I like that Flavien Prat is aboard for the first time.
