Top pick: #4 (GULSARY) (4-1) - Irish import was a winner on this course over weaker on Oct. 17th, then was away slowly before rallying last out to run third to today's rival "Moone's My Name." A distance specialist, and it's interesting that Gary Stevens takes this filly over "Customer Base."
2nd pick: #7 (Customer Base) (5-2) - From the same barn (Tom Proctor) as "Gulsary," stakes winner has been freshened up since Nov. 3rd when she rallied to finish third here in the "Goldikova" stakes (G2). Strong finisher is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Moone's My Name) (4-1) - As mentioned above, she defeated "Gulsary" last out when she went wire-to-wire in a Hollywood allowance on Dec. 5th. English import has some quality, and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #9 (Appealing) (5-1) - No speed type should like the longer distance she travels today, but will still need some pace help for anything more than a minor award.
