Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (ROCKEMPEROR) (3-1) - Irish import from the Chad Brown barn has been competitive in two of three since coming to No. America last summer. The colt rallied to finish 3rd when going nine furlongs in a G3 at the Fair Grounds March 21 and has followed that up with five works at the Palm Meadows Center before shipping west. I give him a small edge.
2nd pick: #5 (United ) (6-5) - Since early April of last year, this gelding has gone 8-3-3-1 on the grass. The probable heavy favorite, he missed by a 'head' here to 2019 Horse of the Year 'Bricks and Mortar' in the Breeders' Cup Turf (G1) on Nov. 2 and would be no surprise at a short price.
3rd pick: #2 (Multiplier) (10-1) - This longshot ran here on the dirt a week ago, and that should set him up for a competitive try on the grass following the quick turnaround. Not as talented as the top two picks, he does have a bit more early speed than that pair, and was only 1.5 lengths behind 'United' here in a G2 Feb. 1.
