Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (CONCORD'S STAR) (5-2) - Un-raced since Sept. 18, colt rallied to finish second that day facing much tougher at Los Alamitos in a solid debut. Owned and bred by Kaleem Shah, he's trained by Bob Baffert. Trainer has him working fast and is dropping him way down in class. The day's Best Bet if he runs doesn't scratch.
2nd pick: #7 (Gone With It) (7-2) - Experience gelding has picked up minor awards in seven of his ten starts and is 5-0-2-2 locally. Speed/stalker is in shape and the tag and distance are fine.
3rd pick: #6 (Mimi's Big Boy) (5-1) - Lightly-raced, he ships back from Golden Gate Fields where he rallied to finish a close up fourth going a mile on the grass April 30. Barn moves him back to the dirt and shortens him back up in distance.
4th pick: #8 (Rickles) (10-1) - Even paced colt drops back down after finishing fifth, beaten four lengths here facing tougher May 6. It was a career best and came in his 3rd back from an 6.5 month layoff. He may grab a share at a big price.
