A rival opened up a 12 length lead while setting suicidal fractions and the race fell apart when that filly stopped to a walk. She's dropping in class, draws a good post, and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Tammy's Window) (7-2) - Experienced maiden enters off a pair of even efforts facing tougher. Stretch runner finished second at this trip when in against special weights March 5 and the O'Neill barn has her in a claimer for the first time. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Christmas Carol) (6-1) - From the same barn (Rich Baltas) as 'Gee Street,' she's very lightly-raced and is racing beyond 6.5 furlongs for the first time. She has a bit of speed and can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #1 (Sally Simpson) (8-1) - Another dropping in class, filly tired badly going seven furlongs on the dirt when facing tougher April 23. She's worked fast since and her lone previous grass race (March 24) was encouraging. Can factor from her ground saving post.
