Top pick: #6 (NATIVE RIDE) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, colt has finished a close up third in three straight here on the grass at this distance facing tougher. Trainer John Sadler drops this 4-year-old son of 'Candy Ride' into a claimer for the first time and he should break his maiden this afternoon.
nd pick: #2 (Passinaflash) (3-1) - He ran both evenly and wide last out for a $50K tag April 18th. Strong finisher had a tough outside post that day, draws better, and trainer Doug O'Neill drops him down a bit.
rd pick: #7 (Archie Bunker) (8-1) - Lightly-raced, he takes the same drop as 'Native Ride' after finishing 6-lengths back of that rival April 17th. A career best, he's improving and is a stretch threat.
th pick: #4 (Miltee) (4) - His lack of any speed is a concern, but he almost always puts in a stretch rally. His best chance would be if a fast and/or contested pace were to develop.
th pick: #5 (Pyrotechnics) (12-1) - Away since last July, he could grab a minor award at a big price if ready with his best.
