Top pick: #8 (SHE'S BLUSH) (5-2) - Longtime maiden has done her best work 8-0-2-3 on this surface and checked in third on April 20th in her first at this $20K tag. Stalker has worked a bullet 3-furlongs since and draws a nice post for her style.
2nd pick: #5 (Veronica Bay) (7-2) - Filly takes a big drop in class and goes turf to dirt. Bred/owned/trained by Barry Abrams, she has a fine local dirt work on May 3rd and must be considered a win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Hot Oughta the Oven) (4-1) - Lightly-raced 5-year-old has shown good early speed in her last pair and last out had to he hard sent from her rail post. She moves out in the gate, has a bullet work April 30th, and should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #3 (Ryleigh Ruler) (5-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of "Roman Ruler" rallied to finish second when debuting in late July at Del Mar, and did not run again until April 10th. She had a poor start that day and was never involved. Trainer Bob Diodoro has had her work twice since and has her making back-to-back starts for the first time.
