It was her first in a claimer, first since Jan. 15, and she was probably best as she had some very serious traffic late in the stretch run. 4yo has a good post and will be tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #6 (Foxtail) (5-2) - A winner here April 29, she was disqualified for drifting out and bothering several foes at the 1/8th pole. Lightly raced speed/stalker is a major player today.
3rd pick: #8 (Into Glamour) (9-2) - Speedy filly runs third back following a five month layoff. Competitive facing tougher several times, trainer Rich Baltas drops her into a claimer, and she must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #3 (Gia Lula) (7-2) - She finished 2nd at this tag going 6.5 furlongs April 5 in her first since Oct. 15. Raised a bit in her latest, she ran evenly while between horses much of the way. Another that must be left under consideration.
