Top pick: #9 (BIG MOVE) (2-1) - Lightly-raced filly stretches out to a mile off a 'head' loss here at this level going 'down the hill' May 16. Speed/stalker has worked very fast since and looks to be sitting on her maiden win.
2nd pick: #10 (Redo It) (4-1) - Improving Reddam home bred exits the same May 16 race as 'Big Move.' She stalked while wide and ran evenly late to finish two lengths back of that rival. Four-year-old is another stretching out to this mile distance for the first time.
3rd pick: #2 (Charming Starlet) (5-2) - Consistent sort rallied to split 'Big Move' and "Redo It' May 16. She's been competitive in eight straight and has run well at this mile distance in the past. Fits, is in shape, and draws inside of the top two selections.
4th pick: #1 (Princess Ashlyn) (7-2) - Speedy filly opened a 15-length lead last out and did so setting quick splits. She predictably tired late and has been freshened up since that April 26 effort. Working above average, and it's apprentice Pena off and Kent Desormeaux on.
5th pick: #4 (It Girl) (4-1) - No-speed type has rallied from far back to finish fourth in her last pair. Unless there's a complete pace collapse, a small slice is her ceiling.
