2nd pick: #8 (Gibson Home Run) - Another with good early speed and trainer Pete Miller will drop him back down to the price ($10000) of his last win. He tired slightly here just 10 days ago running for $19K and the quick turnaround and the drop make him a win threat.
3rd pick: #7 (Mark of a Warrior) - Runs off a re-claim by Jerry Hollendorfer after he lost him for one race and this eight-time winner loves the surface here (7-3-2-0). Stalker is a win candidate from just off the lead.
4th pick: #6 (Elusive Moment) - Longshot races third back off a long layoff and trainer Ed Moger Jr. will drop him down from $20,000 to race for $10K. Can impact at a big price with some improvement.
