Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (MO SEE CAL) (6-5) - Speedy sort has been freshened up since winning her third straight Nov. 15 at Del Mar. This grey daughter of 'Uncle Mo' is moving up in class, but her speed/stalking style fits well in this small field, and think she can win another.
2nd pick: #3 (Just a Smidge) (3-1) - This filly from the Baffert barn originally sold for $425,000 as a 2yo in training back in May of 2017. She was ambitiously placed early in her career and was sent in for a seven-month layoff in Jan. of 2018. The 4yo daughter of 'Into Mischief' defeated weaker at Los Al Sept. 14 in her second back off the long break and has been working fast locally for this attempt.
3rd pick: #1 (Fool's Paradise) (6-1) - On the sidelines since showing little in a trio of stakes, she's dropping way down in class in her first since Sept. 30. One-run type is working steadily, draws a ground-saving post and is a late threat.
4th pick: #5 (Danuska's My Girl) (9-2) - Mare moves up in class and stretches out in distance after winning a sprint facing weaker Nov. 22 at Del Mar. That was a career-best overall and her latest pair of local works suggest that's she' capable of repeating it.
