TO WIN: 4 FIRST MARTINI John Sadler rarely wins with first time starters, so when one of his debut runners races as well as this filly did on Jan 20, it usually means they are ready to win soon. She dueled through a fast pace that day and held gamely for a clear 2nd after putting away her pace rival. She was racing against the grain of a closer's bias in that race, and the filly that finished behind her in 3rd returned to win by 9 lengths. This daughter of Kentucky Derby winner Go For Gin has put in two more solid 5F works over this track since the debut and should be a lot fitter second time out. Pedroza remains aboard and wins at a good 21% rate for Sadler.
