2nd pick: #9 (Kozani ) (3-1) - He's run well in both well-backed starts and will be cutting back in distance after running second here on this course going a mile on Dec. 28. Working well since and a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Los Barrachos) (6-1) - Lightly-raced son of "Pulpit" moves to the grass, draws the rail, and has lasix added. He's raced evenly in his first pair and looks set to be competitive today.
4th pick: #2 (Relative Time) (15-1) - Longshot has some speed and comes out of the same Jan. 11 contest as "Melatonin" where he pressed a very fast pace before backing up. Can prove dangerous at a very big price.
