Top pick: #2 (FROGGY FRESH) (3-1) - Lightly raced stalker has gone 3-0-2-1 since dropping down to this level following his debut. She ran third here last out, but 'stumbled' at the break and had some traffic issues turning into the stretch. She's worked twice since, has the rail, and is the horse to beat.
nd pick: #12 (Dixie Dame) (5-2) - Filly just missed here at this trip facing just a bit tougher. Involved in the pace from start-to-finish that day, she's a strong win candidate with a repeat performance.
rd pick: #11 (Fab Four Ever) (12-1) - Home bred raced evenly when debuting here in late June facing much tougher. Working fast for her return, trainer Ed Truman drops her way down in class. Truman is four for eight at this meet, and this filly is a major factor if ready.
th pick: #13 (I'll Tell You What) (10-1) - 'Nibbler' draws a very tough post for this attempt. She's been competitive in three of her last four at this level. Stalker is a stretch factor if able to avoid a wide journey.
th pick: #6 (Just Bookin) (8-1) - Lightly raced filly was only a 'neck' back of 'Froggy Fresh' last out. However, that rival had a tough trip, so that resulting margin is a bit deceptive. May grab a share at a square price.
