3rd pick: #6 (Misdeed) (7-2) - He's another dropping into a claimer for the first time and last out finished a close up fourth here when facing special weights. Well-bred, in a good barn (Rich Mandella), and working fast. Must be left in the small win mix.
4th pick: #1 (Navarre) (8-1) - English bred has some speed, draws the rail, runs off a 5 1/2 month layoff, and drops into a claimer for the first time.
5th pick: #4 (Van Fraassen) (12-1) - $300,000 colt goes dirt to turf, stretches out in distance, and is yet another racing tagged for the first time. Don't just dismiss.
