Top pick: #3 (ANDINA) - Irish-bred daughter of the international stallion "Singspiel" loves this course (8-3-1-3) and most of those starts have come at this distance. Stalker wasn't beaten much last out at Del Mar in the G2 Palomar H. and this 4-year-old had a very uncomfortable trip after breaking from an outside post. Looks all set for a winning effort.
2nd pick: #5 (Victoryasecret) - She's clearly the main speed and is 8-for-19 overall and 3-for-6 on the turf. Veteran mare by "Victory Gallop" enters this off a near miss at Del Mar in a $95K stakes for Cal-breds and in the paceless field has a solid chance at going wire-to-wire.
3rd pick: #4 (Whisper Louise) - Another Irish-bred filly and in her North American debut she was beaten less than a length on this course going 9 furlongs in the Provedencia S.(G2) on April 9. She followed that up with an even effort at Hollywood in the G2 Honeymoon H. two months later, a race where she was a bit hard to handle. On the sidelines for four months, filly is training fast locally and appears to be fully acclimated now.
