Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (ITSINTHEPOST) (5-2) - Hard hitting veteran had some serious traffic issues when he lost by just under a length to today's rival 'Hunt' at Del Mar Aug. 19. A G2 winner here earlier this year, he's racing second of a seven-week break, and also draws a nice ground saving post.
2nd pick: #8 (Hunt) (3-1) - As mentioned above, Irish import was just under a length better than 'Itsintheost' Aug. 31 at Del Mar. He's won G2 stakes in his last pair and enters in career best form. He's won four times on the Santa Anita turf in the past and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Frank Conversation) (5-1) - He's back on his home turf after tiring in a pair of of 'Graded' stakes at Saratoga. He's gone 6-2-2-0 on this course and just missed here in a G2 May 28.
4th pick: #4 (Chicago Style) (6-1) - No speed type moves way up in class after winning five of his first six. He's in the mix on figures, but this field is significantly tougher than he's ever lined up against.
