Top pick: #8 (GOLDEN CELESTIAL) (3-1) - Filly has been sharp in both starts, and finished a close up third last out at this level to today's rival "Tookmebysurprise." Trainer Pete Miller has worked her since, and she has a good chance at reversing the decision this afternoon.
2nd pick: #7 (Tookmebysurprise) (5-2) - Very speedy filly was a "game" gate-to-wire winner here on Oct. 6th, and that ran her record on real dirt to 3-2-1-0. She's worked twice since, and that last win was a career best. Win candidate again today.
3rd pick: #4 (Take One) (2-1) - Daughter of "Roman Ruler" was an impressive wire-to-wire winner when debuting Aug. 30th at Del Mar for a $62.5K tag. Freshened up for the past two months, trainer Adam Kitchingham has her nicely spotted in her first facing winners.
4th pick: #5 (Ascription) (6-1) - Her lack of early speed is an issue, but she's made up good ground in all four starts, and last out wasn't far back of both "Celestial" and "Surprise." The faster the pace, the better her chances.
