Freshened up since strong finisher is working steadily, draws a fine outside post, and is nicely spotted by trainer Jeff Mullins.
2nd pick: #4 (Blame Joe) (9-5) - The morning line and probable favorite, speedy 4yo is taking a big drop in class for this attempt. Home bred is from the barn of leading trainer Peter Miller and is an obvious threat from on or just of the lead.
3rd pick: #1 (Quad) (12-1) - Freshened up since Sept. 1, he tired after setting the pace to check in a distant third going 5.5 furlongs at this level at Del Mar. Longshot has the rail, is working fast, and may be in this every step at a very big price.
4th pick: #2 (Psychedelicat) (6-1) - Gelding rallied mildly to finish fourth going 6 furlongs here at this level Oct 6. It was only his second start back following a 7.5-month layoff and he broke his maiden here at this distance Jan. 6.
