2nd pick: #9 (Chief of Staff) (3-1) - He's moving up in class after a visually impressive win Aug 21 at Del Mar racing at this mile trip. Speed/stalker is lightly-raced, still improving, and earned a career best figure last out. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (New Summit) (6-1) - Very lightly-raced colt has been competitive in every start to date 5-1-1-3. Stalker by 'Sky Mesa' is working fast and is attempting a two-turn distance for the first time. Three-year-old is dangerous in this spot.
4th pick: #3 (Tiz Dynamic) (15-1) - Long shot has won four of nine starts on the local dirt, but has become a bit hard to handle lately. Fits, is working nicely, and is a threat at a big price on his best behavior.
