Competitive in all three attempts, he finished 2nd in his only previous dirt sprint on June 30 at Ellis Park. He drops in class, races without blinkers, and Flavien Prat is aboard. Lots to like.
2nd pick: #4 (Full Draw) (3-1) - One of four making their debuts, this 4yo by 'Union Rags' has worked six times here since April 4 and is from a good first out barn, John Sadler (17%). It's noted that Victor Espinoza is aboard, and when teamed up with Sadler they've won at a 24% rate since Jan. 1 of 2019.
3rd pick: #7 (Da Kine) (7-2) - Disappointing 4yo is dropping into a claimer for the first time and is switching from grass to dirt while cutting back in distance. He has a fine series of works for his first since Jan. 5 and should be competitive with the changes.
4th pick: #3 (Press Briefing) (10-1) - Another making his first start, he's from the same barn (Peter Miller) as 'Most Sandisfactory.' This 3yo has worked a half-dozen times since April 16 at the San Luis Rey Center, and Miller is capable first-out (13%).
