2nd pick: #8 (Coolington) (3-1) - Grey gelding was a winner here at this distance facing tougher March 29th in his first off a Pete Miller claim. Four-year-old by 'Pulpit" went evenly going a mile in his follow up race April 9th. Given a five week breather, Millerr drops him down, shortens him up, and adds blinkers. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (No Contingency) (5-1) - Speedy sort has done his best work here 13-2-3-3 and has been competitive in two straight since coming off a seven-week freshening in late March. He should be involved from start-to-finish at a square price.
4th pick: #3 (Surf N Ski) (8-1) - Once classier gelding is dropping to a new low in his third back off some long layoffs. He has some speed, is stringing starts together, and one of his two wins came at this distance.
