It was her first facing winners following a sharp maiden win here May 11. Along with a drop down, she worked a very strong half-mile the morning of June 23.
2nd pick: #7 (Yellow Bonnet) (5-1) - Well bred 4-year-old will be facing winners for the first time. She was a six length maiden winner June 4 going 6.5 furlongs for a $30,000 price tag in her second back from an eight week break. Competitive in most all of her starts, trainer Mark Glatt has her nicely spotted and headed in the right direction.
3rd pick: #6 (La Gaily) (10-1) - Another that's facing winners for the first time. Speed/stalker went wire-to-wire to score by almost 10 lengths winning here April 28 at this distance. She's worked a half-dozen times since and can factor at a big price.
4th pick: #5 (Flyin Artie) (12-1) - Longshot is yet another entering off a maiden win. She won going five furlongs May 29 in what was only her second lifetime appearance. In a capable barn (Hector Palma) and this 3-year-old has plenty of room for upside.
