2nd pick: #4 (Valiant Minister) (3-1) - The second of the Baffert maidens, this grey colt has been working fast both here and at Los Alamitos. Grey son of 'Candy Ride' cost $680K and the 'Hall of Fame' trainer wins at a 25% rate first out.
3rd pick: #3 (Southern Keys) (10-1) - Longshot raced both wide and evenly when debuting last April on the Tapeta surface at Golden Gate Fields. Working fast locally, he's from a capable barn (Mike Machowsky) and has Marty Pedroza aboard.
4th pick: #2 (Aces Wired) (6-1) - Debuting 4-year-old cost $200K as a 2-year-old in training back in April of 2015. I like his long series of works and longshot may impact at a big price if ready.
